Nexans high-performance ENERGYFLEX ® PV cable

These state-of-the-art 0.6 to 1 KV cross-linked ENERGYFLEX ® cables offer exceptional performance, easy installation and long-term reliability for short DC connections. They link photovoltaic panels on rooftops or solar fields, and also connect them to the array box (if one exists), or to the inverter which transforms DC solar energy into usable AC electricity. Resistant to extreme temperatures (-40°C to +120°C), ozone and UV, these zero-halogen cables are low-smoke and fire-retardant for enhanced fire security. LCIE, TÜV, UL and IMQ-certified, they fit main connectors, are color-striped for easy installation and phase identification, meet RoHS & REACH directives, and are fully recyclable. Through its multiple plant capacity, Nexans is able to provide them anywhere in the world.

Since 2007, the Group set up procedures and tools to produce and inform its customers according to the regulation requirements, such as REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of chemical) and RohS (Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electric and electronic equipment).

Our suppliers are involved too in our Sustainable Development approach. Since the beginning of 2010, all our new wooden drums in Europe are PEFCTM certifi ed (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certifi cation schemes). This label provides the guarantee that wood based raw material comes from sustainably managed forests. Nexans is the fi rst cable manufacturer to implement such initiative.
